Crathie Church. - Built by Queen Victoria about the same time as Balmoral Castle, this royal place of worship stands on a small eminence overlooking the Dee Valley, under the shadow if Craig Nordie, The church has a lovely appearance outside as well as inside, Its brick red roof and tower, and light granite walls, rise from a beautiful setting of handsome trees of various shades.
