Great Britain, Ireland, and of the British Dominions beyond the Seas,
King; Defender of the Faith; Emperor of India; eldest son of His late
Majesty King George V. and of Her Majesty Queen Mary; born at White Lodge,
Richmond Park, June 23, 1894. Educated at Osbourne, Dartmouth and Oxford.
Invested Prince of Wales July 13, 1911. Took part in the Great War,
gazetted 2nd Lieutenant Grenadier Guards, August 6 1914 - gazetted Major
in May 1918. Succeeded to the Throne January 20 1936. Coronation, May 12
1937.
