MISCH & STOCK'S PICTURE POSTCARDS

A New Coat of Tar Off to Market Splitting Slates in the Bethesda Quarries

The firm of Misch & Stock began their postcard production in 1903. Two years later the name was changed to Misch & Co., when Stock retired. As fine art publishers, the quality of production was absolutely outstanding and well suited to the reproduction of paintings on postcards. Their three bells logo is distinct and collectors have a major task on their hands when they attend fairs, as not all dealers keep these cards under the name of the publisher.
